Our Bed and Breakfast Cottages in Fredericksburg

As true lovers of the Fredericksburg lifestyle themselves, the owners of Wine Country Cottages had two very important things in mind… luxury and comfort.

The Cellar

The Manor

The Manor is one of our most historic bed and breakfast cabins in Texas Hill Country. Part of a farmhouse that was built in 1902, the Manor cabin combines Fredericksburg’s unique German history with the rustic elegance of the Wine Country.

The Original Estate

Get a sense of the history behind Fredericksburg, TX by staying at the Original Estate at the Wine Country Cottages on Main. The Original Estate was built in 1902, just 56 years after Fredericksburg was founded by its German settlers.

Loeffler-Weber Cabin

Built by German settler Gerhard Rorig in 1846, the Loeffler-Weber Cabin is one of our most unique offerings of our Wine Country Cottages on Main, as it is the oldest Sunday House in Fredericksburg.

The Wine Key

Just as a wine key is an elegant and easy way to open up a bottle of wine, the Wine Key cottage at our bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX blends convenience and class. Inspired by the innovation and history of the wine key, the Wine Key cottage encompasses the vintage feel and rustic charm of Texas wine country.

Wine Thief

A wine thief is a tube used to extract a sample of wine from an oak barrel to taste or test it. The Wine Thief suite at Wine Country Cottages on Main, our collection of luxury B&Bs, insinuates the rustic feel of a renowned French winery.

Angel’s Share

Winemakers often store their wine in oak barrels during the wine making process. When it’s stored at high humidity for long periods, a small portion of alcohol evaporates from the barrel.

Cork & Barrel

Once you step into the Cork and Barrel cottage at Wine Country Cottages on Main, you’ll immediately want to kick off your shoes and have a glass of wine as you enjoy this little piece of paradise in Wine Country.

The Cuvee

Derived from the French cuve, the term cuvee refers to a mixed blend of wine and is often found on wine labels. For still wines, the term is used to signify a specific blend of different grape varieties, wines, or vineyards. When it comes to sparkling wines and champagne, the term shows that only the best juice, the juice from the first press of grapes is used.

Vintner

From the Old French word vinetier, a vintner is a winemaker or wine merchant. With its sunny and dry climate, Texas is a premier destination for wineries and vineyards.

The Bodega

The Bodega, a beautiful cottage suite at Wine Country Cottages on Main, is the perfect spot for a getaway. The Spanish word for winery, the term “bodega” can also refer to a wine shop or cellar.

Petit Chateau

French for a country house or castle, the Petit Chateau suite at Wine Country Cottages on Main will make you feel like royalty.

The Tank House

Immerse yourself in Fredericksburg’s history during your visit by staying at our Tank House. One of the most unique suites at our Fredericksburg, Texas bed & breakfast, the Tank House was literally built from an original water tank house on one of the town’s oldest properties.
